Winter DFOS measurements of the railway line
It’s finally a beautiful, real Polish winter!⛄️
And we start with DFOS measurements of the railway line at -15°C:
❄️ more than 2,200 m of sensing path
❄️ three scatterings: Rayleigh, Brillouin, and Raman
❄️ five independent optical devices
❄️ short-term load tests and long-term monitoring
❄️ static and dynamic readings
❄️ strains, stress, temperatures, curvatures, and displacements
❄️ DFOS supported by automatic inclinometer system
This is the first such project in Poland!
